Testimonials from members of British Military Fitness
"BMF is a great way to keep fit (or get fit) and meet new people. Since my first free class a month ago I am now a monthly paying member with tighter, stronger muscles aiming for the red bib whilst losing weight. I have met a really good group of people and really look forward to the classes after work and even a Saturday morning!
"I have struggled to lose weight for about two years but doing the classes has really pushed my body and finally kick started some much needed weight loss after over indulging when I lived in Australia. BMF is like having a personal trainer and because I can see and feel results I am motivated to watch what I am eating without following a strict diet!"-

I joined BMF in April 2009 & think its the best way of keeping fit there is.
So easy to join a gym, then go for a bit & not try very hard then never go again, but still pay. on the basis that YOU MIGHT GO.
BMF is fun & as your in a group, no one wants to be last, so you do push yourself.
I run half marathons. Average time was approx 2 hours. After 4 months of BMF, I did the Cardiff Half in 1 hour 46 mins... on a sprint finish.-

I have been a BMF Member for 2 and a half months, since joining i have met alot of new people both in the park exercising and socially. I really enjoy going and the instructors are very friendly and encouraging. I find exercising in a group keeps you motivated and makes it easier to achieve your goals. I have achieved more than i thought i could attending BMF and it has given me more confidence. I also attended bootcamp with BMF in Wales, this was amazing for me to do and taught me alot about myself. This was a good team building exercise and showed you just how to work in a team and push yourself further than you have before. I am glad that I have joined BMF and will continue to go along.-

BMF is the best form of excercise I have found to date and the one I have stuck with the longest. It by far beats the gym or excercising on your own - it is varied, fun, sociable, challenging, motivating and rewarding and it has the benefit of being outside in the fresh air in the park rather than stuck inside in a smelly weight-lifting room. In the winter, you get the added benefit of running around in the wind, snow and rain and in the dark (and losing more calories as a result!) and in the summer you get to work on your tan! The early morning sessions, although hard to get up for, are well worth it and you feel great afterwards. All of the instructors are professional, friendly, encouraging, motivating and positive.-

I had played football all my life since a very young boy, after stopping a couple of years ago, I began to put on weight quickly, I wasn’t happy with this and something needed doing about it, I refused to let myself go physically, especially I was approaching 30 years of age. First of all, I tried taking myself running to get fit and to lose some weight; this didn’t last long as I kept on losing motivation. I then joined my local gym to get myself into shape, I had no luck on this idea as I experienced the same problem as before, I started to realize that I was looking for something a little different. Sometime during this time I randomly decided to go for a walk through Pontcanna fields, as I was walking through the park my solutions had found me in the form of crazy people running around doing exercises in Blue, Red and Green Bibs, I stood there in a mesmerised state on a fine Autumn evening and saw the joy on peoples faces as they bonded and worked hard together to push one another through the tough exercises, I realised at that moment that this was for me. Taking that walk through the park has changed my life for ever, I now have a lot of new friends, I’m in the best shape of my life, and I have now reclaimed my confidence and determination.-

B.M.F has been a brilliant motivator in the past 6 months. It's a great convenience to have activities daily to choose throughout the week as my routine week to week is very different but it can still accommodate me. My body notices massively if I've missed a few sessions and so if I have a good run of classes, my energy day to day is very good. I have a physical job as a childrens and circus entertainer so its great to keep this fitness up to accompany the strength I need for that. Great hardcore trainers, who are up for a laugh but get your bum into shape too!:)-

I've been a member for 4 weeks and absolutely love it. I am away at the moment for 3 weeks and am gutted to be missing sessions - that's how much I love it! I've lost 6lb in 3 weeks doing bmf training (not even adjusting my diet). I love the whole session and an hour goes by so quickly, I am always surprised when its time for the cool down. I like the games like tag etc as it is fun and you don't realise you are excercising. The instructors are great too as they don't make you feel you have to do something if it is uncomfortable or you can't do it, yet they really encourage you and motivate you to work as hard as possible. Looking forward to coming home so I can come back to class!-
