Use Butter and good saturated fats - NOT Margarine
Before recent time crazes for low fat in foods and crazy magazine articles telling you that butter is bad because it is high in fat etc, let me inform you why eating butter is not a bad thing, and may actually HELP you start a new chapter in your diet!!
Eating butter has many benefits, not only does it provide the body with a great energy source, but also provides great taste compared to its so called 'healthier competitors'.
There are some things you, the BMFer need to understand about fats. Firstly, Fat does not make you fat!! Fats are the prime source of energy for the body and will be used immediately. The fats in butter are unrefined and unaltered, which means the body maximises the full use and benefits that it needs.
Butter has great taste and nutritional values because the good fats are still in there, it tastes great because fats are still in there. Which ever low fat product you buy, the chances are that they taste like cardboard. Manufacturers are good at replacing natural fats with sugars and sweeteners, which are not only detrimental to the body, but are also highly addictive! (Sugar is a carbohydrate that turns to body fat)
Question - Did you know that the majority of every cell in the body is made up of saturated fat?!! So why stop eating something that the body so badly needs!
If you are worried about butter 'clogging up the arteries', have NO FEAR! Butter is only hard in cold environments. So, considering the body is internally very warm throughout life, fats will stay as 'A LIQUID' until used. (Fat is the first energy source of the body). Body fat is used when a person immersed in physical training (BMF in the park)!
The BMFer needs to stay away from 'TRANSFATS' - Which are found in foods such as processed foods, pizza, ready made meals and cakes an old cooking oils. These are the man made/altered fats that cause problems such as obesity and heart disease etc.
NOTE: Don't go eating any old fats - It's all about the quality.
Margarine - Fact
Did you know that margarine is only a few molecules away from from being PLASTIC? True (it is plain to see in the internet).
It is a man made product, which is coloured from grey to yellow (to look like butter) and is proceeded to disguise the smell (which is terrible)
How can your body use something that is not natural?
Conclusion
50 years ago, the population lived on a diet that was dominated by eating natural products such as Butter. There was not the health issues of obesity and heart disease etc during this time!
So, the question I ask you is: Now you know some of the benefit's of eating butter, why are people still eating man made products?
Answer: The magazine or company selling the product is trying to make money and says so!
